Species: Xanthoparmelia delisei

Previously Neofuscelia delisei. Growth type foliose.

Thallus yellowish to grey-brown, tranversely wrinkled, +/- adpressed. Lobes maculate, radiating at margin, often pruinose at tips. Lower surface black, often paler at tips with frequent simple rhizines. Apothecia common on older parts of thallus, isidia absent.

Occurs on well-lit, siliceous, coastal rocks, often with X. pulla. Medulla: KC+ orange-red, C+/- red, UV+ white.

Similar: Xanthoparmelia loxodes and X. verruculifera
