Species: Ramalina calicaris Photos: On Salix branch. The Gearagh, Cork, SW Ireland. Shiny grey-green thallus, narrow divided branches with up-turned edges forming a single deep channel. Apothecia at or near the branch tips. Thallus usually pendant, to approx 8cm. Occurs on well-lit to lightly shaded basic-barked trees, e.g Willow. Chemical reactions negative. |
