Species: Cladonia macilenta

Primary thallus squamulose, secondary thallus fruticose.
Photos: On rotting post in forestry. Ballingeary, Cork, SW Ireland.

Small, incised bluish-grey-green squamules. Upright branched or simple podetia, sometimes squamulose below, upper stalks granular or sorediate. Small red apothecia, no cups.

Usually found on rotting wood, fences and trees, also on soil.
K+ yellow, P+ orange, UV-
