Species: Candelariella coralliza Photos: Wall below pigeon nest. Courtmacsherry, Cork, SW Ireland. Deep-cracked thick yellow thallus, areolate with rounded, evenly shaped granules. Apothecia occasional, dirty yellowish. Infrequent on well-lit acidic rocks used as bird-perching sites. Scattered distribution throughout Ireland. K- Similar: Candelariella vitellina |
