Greenish-grey or pale grey thallus comprised of very small fluffy granules with no clear lobes or white, 'cottony' medulla.

Frequent and widespread on shaded trees, mosses and acidic rocks. Chemical reactions negative. UV+ white

The aggregate comprises Lepraria atlantica, Lepraria cacuminum, Lepraria vouauxii
